Card Editor

🔒

Text, photos, QR codes and card graphics are processed exclusively in the browser on your device. Card content is not transmitted to our server.

The preview and PNG and PDF files are generated locally using browser functions. The QR code is also calculated directly in the browser; no external QR service is used.

Local storage of drafts

When you use “Save locally”, the draft, including inserted images, is stored in your browser’s local storage. A local working copy is also saved after changes so the latest draft can be restored.

This data does not leave your device. You can remove it by deleting saved drafts in the editor or clearing the website data in your browser. Large photos may exhaust the available browser storage.

QR codes, card links and invitations

QR codes are generated locally from the text or link you enter. When using “Open in Google Maps”, a Google Maps address is opened in a new browser window only after your action. The privacy policy of the selected provider then applies.

Calendar events are generated and downloaded as a local ICS file. They are not transferred automatically to a calendar service.

Sharing feature

When you use “Share”, the browser passes the locally generated card file to your device’s system sharing function. The file is sent to a selected service only after your choice. ascards.de does not receive a copy.

Cookies and audience measurement

The current version of ascards.de uses no cookies, advertising networks, analytics or tracking services. No external fonts or external JavaScript libraries are loaded.
